Independent infrastructure & resilience architect
I find weak points before they become downtime.
I am Lukáš Hofrichtr. For more than 20 years I have designed and operated enterprise networks, Linux services and critical infrastructure. I connect architecture, hands-on delivery and decisions that management can act on.

01 / Two ways to work together
One principle: the system must survive its own failure.
For organisations, that means recoverable infrastructure and clear ownership. In homes, it means automation that adds comfort without becoming a condition of basic operation.
& NIS2
Identity, networks, backups and recovery translated into priorities management can decide on.

Your IT may work today. What happens on the bad day?
Complex infrastructure often depends on undocumented decisions, one experienced administrator or backups nobody has restored as a complete service.
Hidden dependencies surface during incidents
Network, identity and servers work individually, but nobody owns the recovery sequence.
Backup is not recovery
A backup says little about the time, access and decisions needed to resume operations.
Technical debt has no business order
Management receives issues, but not a clear sequence based on impact, cost and effort.
03 / Principal offer
IT Resilience & NIS2
Technical Readiness Sprint
A fixed-scope technical review for European organisations that need clear priorities before an audit, insurance renewal, major change or incident.
What you receive
- 01 M365 identity and privileged access review
- 02 Network, firewall, VPN and failure-point review
- 03 Backup and actual recovery readiness
- 04 Monitoring, patching, certificates and logging
- 05 Top ten risks ranked by business impact
- 06 Management summary and 90-day roadmap
- 07 One agreed quick improvement implemented
04 / For discerning homeowners
A smart home must work when the smart layer does not.
I use Home Assistant and ESP32 as an open, local layer for owners who want flexibility beyond a closed platform such as Loxone. The foundation remains a functioning house, not an automation server.
Resilient smart home
Architecture and independent review for complete or partially smart homes where automation adds comfort without controlling basic access to the home.
- Physical control of lights and essentials
- Safe states when server, network or sensors fail
- Local operation and open integrations
- Coordination with electrical professionals
Best considered before the electrical design is frozen
Home energy management
One strategy for solar, batteries, heat pumps, thermal storage, EV charging and dynamic tariffs—with manual override and safe limits.
- Seven-day baseline
- Energy and tariff-aware control
- Home Assistant implementation
- 30-day before-and-after review
Proven on a 14 kWp / 56 kWh reference system
05 / About
Architecture does not end with an approved diagram.
A system must be explainable to the customer, operable by the team and adaptable when reality changes during delivery.
My background spans enterprise networking, routing and switching, high availability, Linux services, Microsoft 365 and Azure, automation with Python and Ansible, and physical systems connected through ESP32 and Home Assistant.
